If you need WiFi-enabled remote access to lock and unlock your door, this is a simple, direct replacement for the thumbscrew on your deadbolt. It integrates with Google Home and Alexa, which is a significant advantage.
Locked me in my house. I couldn’t even get this to work at all. I was offered a replacement maybe that one will work.
I have already returned it... The deadbolt end should be slightly tapered to auto align. The app integration with google is atrocious!
It was a rough start. It arrived with dead batteries so that was frustrating. And now I can't get the sensor to connect. Soooooo. But it's cool. I wanted to return it but couldn't find the original email.
App and connectivity can be a little finiky, but overall super useful and mechanically works excellently. To be clear I believe it is more of a phone/app issue, the wifi connectivity has been good.
This is exactly what I needed for my apartment. My apartment doesn’t allow extra keys, so I got this so my partner can come and go and my family can come in if there’s an emergency. It was easy to install and works like a charm. I wish it worked with apples HomeKit, but you can’t have everything!
When it works, it works ok. Got locked out twice as it losses sync. Wifi signal is strong.
Love this stylish design! and its compact size is a big plus. The Wi-Fi functionality is fantastic, allowing me to check the lock status and control it remotely. The only minor issue I've noticed is occasional Wi-Fi connectivity hiccups, but overall, it's a great product.
This Philips Smart Retrofit Lock is simply amazing! It seamlessly replaced my old deadbolt, and the installation was a breeze. I love the convenience of controlling it with the Philips Home Access App, so no more worries about forgetting my keys. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their home security!
I bought a Philips retrofit lock 1 month ago and receive an accessory. I didn't know how to install it and just contacted the customer service. I was so delighted as to how patient they were! The accessory is actually a door sensor, it could detect my door status. I can check it though the Philips Home Access app. Oh, here I have to say that the app is really a wonderful creation, I love its convenience, timeliness, and its powerful function. No more worries about my home security!!! Just so amazing!
Have to say the customer service is really a great surprise. bought a black one but received with a silver lock. Contacted the customer a few muns later, they promised will send me a new one with the color I want. Good service, quick express. Love it!
